Everything you need to print the parts to convert a 135N 35mm back for Bronica SQ or ETRS (es, confirmed to work with both) to a 135W back so you can natively shoot 35mm panoramas.
The 135W back is very rare, and very expensive item - so this is a relatively inexpensive approach, with just the cost of a 135N back and these conversion kit files to consider.
Bronica was pretty clever with these backs. The 135N and 135W were identical except for the size of the gear and the presence of the pin. That allowed them to manufacture the same outer shell and film carrier insert, and at the very end of the process just those two particular components would decide whether it went out as a 135N or 135W.
Files Included:
- replacement gear
- replacement film gate
- viewfinder film mask
Hardware required:
- 2x bearings for the roller - 682ZZ Ball Bearings 2x5x2.3mm
Download the conversion guide with detailed instructions.
I suggest printing the gear at least with a 0.2mm nozzle at a layer height of 0.08mm using PETG or PETG-CF. Give it six walls and 85% gyroid infill.
